What is a Microbreak?

A microbreak is a brief break taken frequently during periods of continuous computer use. Microbreaks ideally should be taken every 5-10 minute, lasting between 5-15 seconds. By taking microbreaks you significantly reduces the risk of injury included strained eyes and back pains.

Microbreaks aren't just based around working at your desk. Giving yourself short periods throughout the day is highly beneficial for your productivity. Running your own business takes a lot out of you, physically and emotionally. Giving yourself time to regroup after each task, enables you to look at each new project with fresh eyes.
